Got free time this summer?

Summer is here! Ready to start a safe and fun summer!? Sometimes that means being stuck at home while parents are working. Or stuck in a long car ride with nothing to do. There are plenty of activities that are appropriate and fun! Here are some ideas and links to things you can do at home and in the Garland, TX area! Always remember to be safe and ask a trusted adult when you have a question or are not sure what to do.
So what are some healthy and fun things you can do on your free time at home? Most of these ideas will require some supplies... Here we go!
Journaling. Journaling is one of my favorite things to share with students. It is something you can make out of a regular spiral or composition book. There are so many things you can do with this. It is not just limited to the "Dear Diary" stuff. Be creative! Here is a list of what a journal can be used for and some links for inspiration...
